Cranial
Osteopathy is a subtle form of Osteopathic Treatment,
that encourages the release of stress and tension
throughout the body. Cranial Osteopaths are trained to
feel the rhythmical change that is present in all body
tissue. This is called the Cranial Rhythm. It is a
gentle, yet extremely effective approach which may be
used in a wide range of conditions with people of all
ages, from new born to old age.
Introducing Victoria Inglis-Smith
B.Ost. M.Sc.
Victoria is a Registered Osteopath who
specialises in Cranial Osteopathy
to treat babies and children and she has gained a vast
amount
of experience in this field from her work at
The Osteopathic Centre
for Children in London and has recently gained her
Masters Degree in Paediatric Osteopathy.

Paediatric
Osteopathy has remarkable success in treating premature
babies, colic, sleeplessness, feeding difficulties and
many childhood ailments. Cranial Osteopathy is very
gentle and subtle making it wholly suitable for babies
and children as well as adults. It addresses the whole
body and recognises the importance of the mechanics
working within the head and their influences on the rest
of the body’s health.
Victoria also treats
structurally.
Balancing
the framework of the body through structural Osteopathy
and improving the workings of the internal organs also
helps to relieve common pregnancy symptoms such as
headaches, nausea and backache which some mothers-to-be
may experience.
